Black source to outlet brass (always-live).

Outlet rule
Outlet is ALWAYS live (not switched). Black goes directly to its brass terminal.
🔌
Why outlet is always live
A switched outlet only works while the switch is on. A receptacle in a typical room needs to be always-live so devices plugged in always have power. Run the black source straight to its brass terminal, NOT through the switch.
- ○ 5 wires total to drag
- ○ Black runs split: 2 paths
- ○ White runs through all 3
- ○ Ground runs through all 3
- ○ Outlet is always live
